Lake St-Pierre is located 80 miles east of Montreal and 75 miles west of Quebec City. International flights land in Montreal and rental vehicles are available there. Lake St-Pierre is 35 miles by 9 miles. He is located in the heart of the Atlantic flyway.

 

This area is known to offer the best duck and goose hunting in Quebec. You could expect to shoot at more than 10 species of ducks, Canada goose, greater snow goose and brant.. We also  offer some jump shooting for snipe, marsh hunt for puddle duck and field hunt for Canada and snow geese depending of the migration.

If the wind is too strong, we can’t do sink box hunt, so we gone go with a boat to hunt puddle duck in the marsh or divers on the lake.

A typical day:You will meet your guide at 5H30am at his home. The boats are right across the street already on the rivers. We use a 2072 welded Mod-V with a 55hp outboard for the sink box hunt and a 2072 welded Mod-V with a 55hp outboard and a 16hp mud motor for the marsh hunt. There is about a 20 minutes boat rides to the sink box. The guide will lower the box down, and then it will set the decoys. 2 hunters will go in the sink box and the third hunter will stay in the boat with the guide. We gone change the hunter at each birds shot or every 30 minutes. We will hunt until 11 am. So you have the time to have a meal and take a nap. We will depart for the evening flight around 3H30pm and hunt until sunset. We will hunt in the many marsh on Lake St Pierre. You could expect a mixed bag at the end of the day. We hunt diver: lesser and greater scaup, ringneck,goldeneye, scoter, Oldsquaw, redhead, Brant and puddler: mallard,black duck, wigeon, gadwall,pintail and green wing teal. The daily bag limits is 6 ducks (with no more than 2 black duck). 5 Canada goose or brant and 20 snow goose

Minimum party of 2 required and 4 maximum.

In 2017 the season runs from September to November 15. We offer full day hunt, sink box in am and marsh hunt in pm. (if the hunter doesn’t reach their limits in the morning).

The rate for a duck hunt is $190us per day per hunter for 3 hunters.

The rate for a duck hunt is $230us per day per hunter for 2 hunters.

The rate for a field hunt for goose and an evening duck hunt is $260us per hunter for 3 hunter. 

Not include: Car rental, Gun registration $25 cad, hunting license $115cad, ammunition, lodging, meal and bird processing.

 Lodging is available B&B near the hunting site. They are restaurants less than 5 miles of the hunting site. Details will be given to our hunters at the time of booking. Lodging in the B&B is about $100 per hunter for 3 nights.
